03.06 Blog
Today we looked at resources to define our pitch. Resources include hard and soft skills, what I am most proud of myself for, which last class blog, I mentioned my volunteer experience. I think what makes me different is that I am determined to make both the company and employees have satisfaction, when it comes to Human Resources. I care about everyone without effort, but potential beliefs that may hold me back are not having that sort of power. We worked on putting a pitch together, and this is what I came up with:
To Whom It May Concern,
Problem-solving is at the heart of my approach, whether it’s resolving workplace conflicts, improving team dynamics, or optimizing recruitment processes. With two years of hands-on Human Resources internship experience, I thrive in environments that challenge my ability to think critically and adapt quickly. My organizational skills allow me to manage multiple priorities without losing sight of the bigger picture, ensuring that each task is completed efficiently and effectively.
What sets me apart is my dedication to fostering a balance between the success of both the company and its employees. By actively listening to both sides, I can create solutions that drive essential growth, increase morale, and enhance overall productivity.
In my previous role, I was able to contribute to key HR functions, such as talent acquisition, employee engagement, and implementing revision to company policies.
I am driven by the belief that a strong, well-supported workforce is the key to a company’s long-term success, and I look forward to bringing that mindset to future opportunities.
Thank you for your time and consideration to review my resume. I look forward to talking with you.
Sincerely,
Kimberly Purdy
Today's class was a success, as I did not even have a pitch created before!
